Hi,

I have 2 problems with Sharepoint portal 2007 and IE7, and the explorer view of a "documents" web part:

1- when I right click on a document I have a warning message saying "running a system command on this item might be unsafe. Do you want to continue ". A lot of answers on the web are saying that I need to check "enable" instead of "prompt" in one property of the IE security settings. unfortunatelly, it does not change anything with IE7/SPS 2007. I have even set to "enable" all the settings but I still have this problem.

2- Drag and drop is not working at all.

Any idea

    Exactly which property have you changed

    Just to be sure: You're not doing this on a 2003 server, are you The server has extra security features installed that limits the browser's capabilities.

    It can be down to a number of things.

    Have you tried to add the SharePoint site to the Trusted zone

    Hi,

    the property is "Launching programs and files in an IFRAME" (in the Miscellaneous section).

    Actually, I have set all to "enable" juste to be sure.

    The browser is running on a XP workstation.

    WSS is on a Windowzs Server 2003.
