Hi,
I created a top level website using wss 3.0 Now I added two groups "Users" and "Admin"
I'm adding the users from ADS.....problem I'm facing is that now I want to add a user in both the groups.....when I do this I have to first select a group and then add the user and then select second group and again add the same user to this group....
Cant I assign multiple groups at a single place for a user....
Thanks
MK

Out of the box you cannot add the user to multiple groups, but your user will have the highest rights available so unless you need to add them to the Users group for some specific reason (like Audiences) you can just add them to the Admin groups (assuming, of course, the Admins have all the rights that the Users have)

Hi Gary I need to develop a custom business application where user will shown different UI depending on the Groups he is present in.....
like he may be present in group "Reviewer1" or "Reviewer2"....so UI will change accordingly and these groups will of my own....no way in relation to power of the user like Admin or Users......so I want to add users simultaneously to Reviewer1 and Reviewer2 from single place.
I hope I'm sounding meaningful :)...
Thanks

I find it easier to set up groups in Active Directory, where you can in fact add a user to multiple groups in a single dialog. You can then add each AD group as the single member of the corresponding SharePoint group to achieve what you seem to want.
I hope that's a helpful suggestion.
