I've created a collaboration portal with pages, users, etc.
It works ok from my computer but when i try to acces the sharepoint portal from the internet with my real ip an try to do different operations i reveive this error in Event log:

Guess that all depends on what you want it to do but I find that using the "Collaboration Portal" template works just fine.
