Problems with Office SharePoint Server Search, SharePoint Services Search and SharePoint Services Application services starting

Hello! :-)

Recently, i've encounered a problem concerning farm server deployment. Here is the information.

1 server.

MOSS 2007 x86
OS - Windows 2003 Server Enterprise SP1
Role - ordinary file server.
Type of installation - Complete.

After installing i've configured this server successfully, entered Administration Web Site, created Shared Services, provisioned Project Web Access...so everything is fine and seems ok...
The next step was to add auxiliary server to farm. So i did this :

2 server

MOSS 2007 x64

OS - Windows 2003 Server Enterprise SP1 x64
Role - DOMAIN CONTROLLER
Type of installation - Complete.

At this point, after adding this server to the farm and configuring both servers with SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizzard i've found i cant start the following services on the newly created server :
Office SharePoint Server Search
Windows SharePoint Services Search
Windows SharePoint Services Web Application

All corresponding Windows Services are started and function properly.

Also with numerous efforts on configurinng Diagnostic Logging still I can't find any information about the nature of this malfunction. The logging configuration seems to have bugs.
WHY in a final release of MOSS 2007 there is no logs viewer, as it was in MOSS 2007 Beta 2
Maybe it's a matter of domain controller. Then why in officical documentation i read the following :

"We recommend that you read the Known Issues/Readme documentation before you install Office SharePoint Server 2007 on a domain controller. Installing Office SharePoint Server 2007 on a domain controller requires additional configuration steps that are not discussed in this document."

But still i can't find any info about this on Microsoft.

    Thank you very much for your suggestion! There are numerous ways of troubleshooting and the first one i'll try will be this. I think it should be a big problem if it is really true.

    I am not 100% certain but I do not think you can mix x86 and x64 versions of SharePoint together.
