How to Regenerate "My Links -> My SharePoint Sites"

How does one regenerate the list of sites that appear in a user's "My SharePoint Sites" under the "My Links" menu at the top right of the screen after sites within a site collection have been moved

I find that after moving sites, the links are not updated.
