Assigning task to a Group??

Hi

I m trying to use SP Designer out of the box action Create List Item in my workflow to create task in the task list and assign it to an SP Group.

For that, I created my workflow and added the Action, Create List Item and assigned the group name to Assigned to field there. I set this workflow to be fired whenever a new item is created in my custom list.

But this is throwing an error and shows 'Error Occured' in the workflow log and in the workflow status filed.Same thing is working fine when i assign the task to a single user only. :(

Has anyone faced the issue Plz help me out.....
