  Hi,

  I guess BDC allows you to pull/push the data to your back-end server, the back-end server could be SQL/DB 2 etc.

  I am also facing a problem of integration, that is Single Sign On. There is link "Manage settings for single sign-on" in Central Administration, what is the purpose of this. I could not understand becuase without setting SSO I am able to get the data from other application using BDC (Application deifition file). Please correct if I am wrong.

  I need this application to be available via sharepoint to all users. Preferably running on a different server and also accessing sharepoint data from the custom app.
