Hi All,
I noticed that some of the gadgets in the gallery have a “certified” logo next to them, but I can’t find information anywhere on how gadgets get certified. Can you tell me what the process and requirements are for getting a gadget certified
Thanks in advance,

Getting a Gadget certified
Vybez Cartel
Hi Henry.
This was something that was only for Microsoft items on Windows Live Gallery, but has been removed (and retired) as of today in our latest release.
We are looking at how we can better enable our partner's scenarios on Gallery. Is there something in particular you are interested in
Thanks!

Hi Henry.
We are still figuring out what the right direction is for "certified" like programs within Windows Live Gallery. We feel that the item level "certification" and the word "certification" isn't best and is why we removed it in our latest release.
Stay tuned!
Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response Chris :)
Yes, I thought the "certified" flag was acutally useful, since Gadgets run in a higher security privilege than web sites on the Internet. A certification process could help give users some reassurance that the Gadget they are downloading and installing is not malicious.
