WMP11 Beta breaks my application that works well with WMP10. I am using the WMP ActiveX control. I receive Mousemove events in full-screen mode in order to provide a custom control panel that appears when the mouse is moved.
This works well with WMP 10, but in WMP11 Beta, I get no mousemove events in full-screen mode. Is this by design (although I can't imagine why), or is this a bug that will be fixed when WMP11 is released I need to know if I should find a way to work around this (no ideas yet) or if it won't be an issue with the release version.
Any help on this issue will be much appreciated!

WMP11 not giving mousemove events in full-screen mode

I ended up working around the problem by subclassing the WMP window and checking for mouse move messages in my custom window proc. It's odd that Microsoft chose to change a behavior like this from one version of WMP to the next with no mention of it in the documentation, and it's kind of scary to think what else might change in future versions! All we can do is keep testing with new versions, work around the Microsoft bugs (or intentional changes) and hope for the best!
