Although the two technologies are similar, there is no direct mapping from one to the other. WMV-HD was a format for playback on PCs (and I believe some devices in Europe) whereas HD DVD is a new standard for devices and PCs.
Right now there is no standard for iHD with Video on Demand over cable etc.
You can of course download new iHD over the network on your HD DVD player and (at your option) store it in persistent storage for use next time. But that's not traditional "VOD".
