Windows Media Video

Hi all,

I'm currently creating a gadget that will take dynamic external video/audio streams and also make dynamic playlists video/audio from the users media library. This bit is fine but the problem I'm having is a video looks and runs (no CPU overuse) fine in the sidebar when at a resolution of say 110x60 ish. but when I try and close this and place the video in a larger flyout, even seperate page and a resolution of 400x225 I have issues with it dropping frames, refreshing only half the image and generally being totally unwatchable.

Does anyone know of any limits of using the windows media Active-x control and are there any fixes workarounds for making it more efficient etc.

TIA

James

It doesn't normally do this, I've scaled video in gadget with no issues so far.

This has been resolved by the looks of things in RTM or I just had a early video driver
