I heard Live.com have supported Opera and Firefox. But there some problems happen when I add gadget by Opera and Netscape without signing in Live.com. Why the gadget could not be added correctly without signing in Live.com
Thanks

The same gadget worked fine in IE6/IE7 Are you hosting on localhost Only IE can break cross-domain security restrictions, which means you'll have to host your gadget on a public server to be able to use it with Firefox and Opera. Obviously you won't want to submit your gadget to Gallery prior to testing, so go get yourself a free Geocities account, figure out how to use your ISP's free web service (most ISPs provide some free web hosting -- I know Comcast does), or find some other free or for-pay web hosting site where you can put your css, xml, and js files for testing purposes. For what it's worth, I never develop from localhost because it causes more problems than it solves IMHO (I have a hosting site I pay for).
I've never had any problems with Firefox beyond the obvious (scrollbars on iframes since Firefox can't catch cross-domain iframe resizing and feed that back to live.com to do the right thing, minor CSS differences, minor Javascript differences that the Atlas framework mostly abstracts, etc). On the other hand, I haven't been able to get any gadgets to work with Opera since the March refresh of last year. Granted I haven't really tried since probably June of last year (not counting trying on the new Wii browser, but that's based on Opera Mobile, not Opera 9). Maybe I should try Opera again.

I agree with you. I also think this problem depends on browser's security setting. So, is there any solution
Thanks

I think that your browser (opera or netscape ) do not identify your Microsoft PASSPORT NET or WINDOWS LIVE ID and the security is not good for live com ; Use IE 6 or 7 and it is runing !
Good day to you
