Want to write my own Stock tracker

The problem with the MS Stocks gadget is it can't see New Zealand Stocks. I can get NZ stock prices from http://finance.yahoo.com while I can get currency rates from https://fx1.oanda.com (so I can convert the gains to kiwi dollars) I've done all this in a yahoo widget and am happy with that. Now I want to do the same with an MS Gadget. But the MS Stocks gadget uses a custom MS COM component wlsrvc.dll and that component has no obvious mechanism for overriding the URL where the prices will come from.

Has anyone had any success figuring out what that WLSRVC dll does Specifically the WLStockService and WLStock classes.
