Anyone know how one would determine why a Sidebar Gadget Submission through http://gallery.live.com/ would have been rejected; or how I might know why it was rejected
I tested it fully with Vista Ultimate... I have my manifest, icons, defaults, its COOL and best of all, its one of very few IM and SPACES themed Sidebar Gadgets I have seen available.
I have posted it on my own site in the meantime... I am uncertain as to why the reject happened, and I have monitored my live.com email account and didn't see a reason for rejection. Is there some place else I should have posted it besides gallery.live.com

This could be a long shot, but I noticed your website url is geekswithguns.com - I know it sounds a bit funny, but maybe if your website is anywhere in your code or the description on the gallery that could be the reason it was blocked.
Microsoft wouldn't want to be sending people to a site about guns, would they I had a quick look at your site, there appears to be stuff about firearms on there. I'm not saying that it's definitely the reason, but I am saying that if I was putting it on my website, I wouldn't want any references to your site anywhere on my site.
Maybe Bruce or Brian could verify Microsoft's standpoint on this sort of thing

ah... well, if I got one of those, I would know why it was rejected! :P
Seriously... I log in using my hotmail email address so I have been monitoring that account but amidst all the spam, I didn't see a reject notice. I just looked again (including through my deleted items and junk email folders) and didn't see anything regarding this. It was only rejected yesterday, so that narrows it down. I will review my 'profile' and see if perhaps it was sent elsewhere.

Interesting. I made some minor changes to one of my existing gadgets, checked it was all working ok and updated it on gallery and it was rejected.
Must have been something to do with Gallery.
