ACA Explorer

Hello,

Don't know if anyone has created one yet but I figured I'll share this small tool i made with everyone. AcaExplorer allows you to view the content of unencrypted Advanced Content Archives and extract files.

Usage:

Run acaexplorer.exe >
Click on [Open Archive]  >
Select an *.aca file and click [Open] >
Select one or more files from the listbox >
Click on extract and choose the destination >
Click [Choose] and voila!

Tip: use [CTRL] to select multiple files

The tool is free and can be downloaded from: http://www.levelx.eu

Notes: The program doesn't warn if there is already a file with the same name in the destination map and overwrites. Currently there is a max 16MB limit.

Can you fix the bug where it only sees 30-40 files even if there are 100+ files in the .aca

Thanx so much for the tool...it can be very helpful if you misplace things.

    Hello LevelX,
I've just released the Open Source Version of VMS (these authoring tools, in the last months it was a little bit quiet around it). May be you are interested. It's at CodePlex: http://www.codeplex.com/VMS. It would be a great honor, if you would help us, to integrate your ACA Explorer in VMS. Please send me an E-mail, if you have got questions. dave.jacobi@igsquerum.de

    Best regards
