Programming for $$$

Hello,

I am VB programmer for a large university (and also a doctoral student) and have heard that there are websites where companies post information about a program they need written and programmers can write the program in exchange for pay. As a student, this type of short-term programming job would be perfect, and the extra cash would certainly help! But I have been unable to find any of these sites. Does anyone know of any

Any information will be greatly appreciated!

Also, I have heard that these jobs don't pay much because they are usually taken by programmers outside the US who charge less, but I'd like to at least see what's out there. I always need extra grocery money!
