Hello everyone,
I am having a terrible time adding "mshtml.dll" as a reference to my program in Visual Studio 2005. I get the following message.
"A reference to 'C:\Windows\System32\mshtml.dll' could not be added. Please make sure that the file is accessible, and that it is a valid assembly or COM component.
I am running on Vista.
I've tried un-registering and re-registering the .dll but I get the same error when I try.
Thanks.

Help adding mshtml.dll as reference!

Hi, Marcus
mshtml.dll will be shipped with IE, you may try to update the client with the newest IE to fresh the mshtml.dll.
BTW: if you have no concern, I suggest you reinstall the .NET framework to see if that works

I have the same problem; mine says...
Self registration of C:/Windows/System32/MSHTML.tlb failed.
Please let me know if there is a solution to this.
