Im using XP SP2 and had all the latest updates in Windows Pro Xp. When i plugged in or turned on the power of my USB 2.0 Mobile HDD, it doesnt display the storage device in My Computer or Explorer.
And even my Cellular phone,which has a USB interface to download stuff to my PC, is not recognized or detected.
The device (hard disk in a USB Enclosure) is displayed in USB Controllers section as "USB Mass Storage device" and in the Disk Drives Section, its displayed as "serial number" of the Disk drive (Seagate brand). -> I cannot browse it. it Should be displayed in the browser.
Please help me. Thank you.

I am sorry but this forum is dedicated to questions related to Device Emulator only. You may want to post this question to WinXP forums/newsgroups where it has got better chance of being answered.
