  I'm getting that same error too, with two of my contacts happened and not matter if I sign out and in again it keeps failing also some times I sent a message but I don't get any error but my contact never receives it.

  I hope Microsoft can fix this soon because is really annoying.

  I had the same problem as well.. and I think I found a solution. What I did was I re-downloaded the installation file for msn and when I opened it it gave me the option of repairing msn or removing it. I clicked on the repair option, it did it's thing, I restarted my comp and when I tried sending a message it worked flawlessly! Hopefully this helps!

  I am also getting the problem which happened a day ago and I've tried to get in touch with the tech support but I'm going to guess will be a waste of time because they take ages to reply, it's never helpful and it ends up being the same thing thats put in the help section.

  Yeah, got the same problem around the same time as you did, too. It's only happening with a few contacts and at certain times (usaully around peak usage hours - strange...). It helps sometimes if I switch between my laptop and desktop when it starts happening. If that fails, I just use Web Messenger. It seems to be account-related because it happens even when I use WLM in a different location.

  Hopefully MS will fix this soon... It's pretty irritating.

  To anybody having the same problem as mine, U can try logging to your account on www.meebo.com instead of your normal windows live messenger. I've tried it, its lag free and no more bouncing message or dc anymore. It doesnt have as many features as msn messenger but its much better than having those frustrating undelivered messages. In the end of the day, the main purpose of messenger is to deliver your message. Hope msn team will do something abt this soon...

  Yes it would be much appreciated if microsoft can get this problem fixed.. or atleast can one of their IT personals provide some feedback as to how users who are facing this problem or similar may be able to fix this manually. Thanks!

  I too am getting this same problem. My contacts can NOT start conversations with me. They just get the "could not be delivered" message. I tried signing into Web Messenger - same thing. I tried signing into Xbox360 Messenger - same thing. It definitely seems like it has to do with my account on Microsoft's servers that it's not allowing it across all three methods.

  I'm also getting this problem and it's getting highly infuriating.
  i've tried trillian only to have the same problem (at least that tells me straight away unlike msn waiting 2 mins to decide to tell me it hasn't been sent)
  
  any idea how irritating and frustrating it is, when you're trying to tell the one you love sweet nothings... and you keep getting "the following message could not be delivered to all recipients"
  
  it's happening with almost every message i send, and it's happening at all different times, wether it's peak time or not.

  I have two accounts one recieves "The following message could not be delivered to all recipients:" on any message sent and the other account seems to still work perfectly.

  I can also use messenger plus pologomy and send from account 1 to account 2 without a problem but if I send from accont 2 to account 1, I get "The following message could not be delivered to all recipients:"

  I've experiencing the same problem and its getting worse! Not only the messages were undelivered, but it didn't even show the normal warning when the message bounced. This happens almost every minute now and its very frustrating! And worse still, sometimes I was shown online in my comp but actually not connected so that I appear offline on my friends. Does the staff know and do anything about this problem A lot of my friends experienced this also
