hello,
In my design windows while creating a new project, it asks for qvga or vga but wont show square screen. And the buttons get mis-aligned in square screens. What i need to know is, if i download the emulator image for square screen, will i be able to get the option to develop for square screen in the design window itself

For square, select QVGA or VGA, then switch skins - there is a square skin for the VSD designer, and the same skin is used by the DeviceEmulator in the "Pocket PC 2003 Square Emulator" and other square emulator configurations. The ROM image for rectanglular and square screens is the same - the skin just reconfigures the shape of the LCD panel.

Yes, I did see a square screen emulator where the objects are displayed properly. But when the same application is run on real device, the buttons move away. The buttons are in position on the emulator. Why is this and is there any way to fix the buttons on place instead of finding the screen size and adjusting its position programmatically If no, can you please assist me in finding the screen size of the device with vb .net.
