Slow load times. Can I Remove Allowed Contacts?

I have noticed lately that Messenger is quite slow.

The reason being is that a friend gave me a contact list and told me to add it. I now have a completely useless list of about 300 contacts.

After deleting the contacts, I have noticed that load times haven't decreased. This is obviously because the "allowed contacts" are still loading.

If you try out DotMsn (the example code), you will see that it returns ALL contacts, blocked, allowed etc.

Is there any way I can remove allowed contacts that aren't in my actual (visual) contact list
