I'm trying to build a CE image using the following environment:
Vista RC2, Visual Studio 2005, Platform Builder CE 6.0.
When I select the Target menu, Connectivity Options... choice, I get a brief change in the cursor, but no dialog box opens up, so I am unable to go any further.
Has anybody any encountered this before
Thanks in advance,
Andrew

Can you please manually try and register device emulator binaries They will be located in Program Files\Microsoft Device Emulator\1.0
1. DeviceEmulator.exe /register
2. DvcEmuManager.exe /register
3. regsvr32 SerDMAASPlugin.dll
4. regsvr32 DeviceEmulatorProxy.dll
Hope this helps. Also please make sure you carry out these operations from a admin mode.
-Thanks,

I think my problem is little relation to mine. I hope you can solve my problem.
I developed an application for Pocket Pc2003. I want to target to Treo700WX. But Generally I get only 5 devices in the list (in "Deploy" window) when I use F5 to deploy and debug. Treo700WX is already added to All platforms menu(Tools-->Options-->devices--> All platforms). Can anyone tell me how to target the Treo700WX or any other device.
Is there any way to find whether my Pocket PC is phone edition or not. because I want to add Vibration, LED, and SMS notification which works on only phone edition.
Thanks in Advance,

Your sugestion didn't work for me..!
I'll try to reinstall CE6 from the DVD when i get it. - My current installation was done via web-download. (First without the ARM emulator and then added the emulator...)
