find a category

hi,

i'm trying to use find(), to search categories, eg train station, Churches, hosipitals.. but i found the results return are not right, is there any other way i can do such kind of search

    Yes, there is.

    You can sign up for a mappoint webservice account, then you got tons of different categories of points of interests acessible via the webservice.

    Php no, im a c# guy, sorry cant help with that issue.

    And the mappoint webservice doesnt run in a browser environment, you consume the webservice in your php code then.

    No, you can use any language.

    But we are not talking about client-script in the browser, i suggest you create a asp.net 2.0 webapplication

    and implement clientcallbacks(Ajax), the callbackfunction then gets the data from the mappoint webservice, processes it for you and sends it back to the browser, which then creates the pushpins via jabbascript.

    i'm currently working in a php environment, what's the libray file do i need to include in my php or javascript, do u have a sample code that using php or javascript with mappoint functions

    does mappoint work in the browser other than IE
