Anyone have any idea where I would look for help in writing an application that communicates with MS Fingerprint Reader (DG2-00002) I cannot find any documentation on any of my searches.
I know it comes with drivers and it's own builtin application but I want to use it for a special purpose and would not be using the apps that come with it. (Drivers probably!)
Thanks,
Rick

Okay, is there anyone from Microsoft reading or check-in here. I have searched the net for days now. We need some help!
Can someone explain to me/us in lay terms, what the heck I need to do to capture fingerprints with a Microsoft Fingerprint Reader without it costing me hunders of dollars for a tihird party SDK
Can we use the component mentioned in Lynn's post
Better yet can one of you high flying Microsoft geniuses give me an example of how to capture fingerprints with a C# project. (Not ment to be sarcastic! - I simply can not make it work!)
I can not find a C# example that does not cost me a significant amout of money to compile and distribute.
Please, please, please - My brain is fried and I an now very tired of searching.
Thanks in advance for your thougths - forgive me if I appear frustrated, I am. Great hardware, no way for the average developer to take avantage of it.
What were they thinking is what keeps coming to mind. Maybe I should get some sleeep and try again later.

BTW, is there any other SDK apart from GrFinger and DigitalPersona
Thanks
