Hi all ...

* Installed SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition and learning SSAS 2005
* While clicking on Calculation Tab, the designer surface shows error: Unexpected error occured: error in application

My Machine has following Software Installed (In the same order of listing):
Windows 2000 Server
Microsft .Net Framework 2.0
SQL Server 2005 Express
SQL Server 2005 Developer

Found a post on same topic on the forum, but it was NOT concluded with a solution.

Can anyone help

    Hi all ... The problem is solved..... Sorry to bother. The problem is solved on the same line of the solution provided by the previous post. Though it was NOT because of the OFFICE 2007 TR, the root cause was mismatch of mentioned dlls. i.e. msmdlocal.dll & msmgdsrv.dll. Probably, the mismatch in my case was caused because of the installation of Express edition and developer edition, along with SQL Server 2000, on the same machine. Thanks to all the contributors of the previous post. Piyush
