** write a program that prompts the user to input a positive integer. it should the output a message indicating whether the number is a prime number.

    Most people on this forum are unwilling to do your course work for you. What they are willing to do is to help you answer specific questions you have about some code. If you don't understand the question I suggest talking to who ever is giving the course. He or she should be able to explain in greater detail what is expected.
