I installed VS2005 last week on a few computers and it causes them to reboot sometimes when i run a Build. Is this a known issue
VS2005 is working fine on several computers for me but on a few others this problem is being seen. I will now attempt uninstall/reinstall i suppose, but before i do that, I just want to know if there is a fix for this

I don't think that VS 2005 by itself can cause a computer to reboot. It doesn't use a kernel driver or something so at worst it can crash itself, but not the whole machine. The most liekely cause is that those machine have some hardware/driver related problems like bad harddisks/memory, bad video drivers, CPUs that are not cooled properly.
One small thing to check is to start a command prompt (go to Start/Run and type cmd) and see if it does not start in full screen mode. I saw some situations where VS starts a command prompt and if the command prompt defaults to fullscreen and the video drivers is bad (altough I haven't seen yet such a bad video driver) you have problems.
