Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

I have experienced problems with my MusicMatch Jukebox. It became corrupt and fried my external hard drive with about 90 gigs of music/movies. I lost all of those files and had to reformat the drive as well as mess around with my PC's BIOS. Finally I uninstalled MusicMatch, reinstalled it only to have this message appear.

Microsft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program: C:\Program Files\MusicMatch\MusicMatch Jukebox\mmjb.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

If anyone has any solutions or has experienced similar problems please help me out. I am not very knowledable with computers and not having access to music really hurts.

Thanks

    I have been getting the same message, from both Napster client, and Juice (the newer iPodder client).

    Guys and girls, this forum is for Visual C++ development issues, not troubleshooting installed 3rd-party software. Nobody here has any connection, as far as I know, with any of the software you're describing. I wish you the best of luck in resolving your problems, but this forum isn't the appropriate place to look for information.

    This is not the forum for this question. You should contact MusicMatch Jukebox support and they may be able to help you out.

    Also, it's highly unlikely (nearly impossible) for an user-mode application to destroy a hard disk.

    i just deleted musicmatch, sent my hard drive to the manufacturer, who then sent me a new upgraded one and now I use ITunes. I never recovered all of my lost files, but in the grand scheme off things, they were just files. My recommendation, never use musicmatch again.
