I have looked all over to find information on how to send data on a serial port using VCEE but cant find it. How do you attach a text string to a serial port for output. I am looking for the syntax for this or better a sample of code. Press a button to send a string. What I am asking for is probably simple but I cant find any supporting docs on the serial port component in VCEE. Please Help!!!

Hi Joe,
You can do this by, detaching the serial cable from your serial output pin. Attach an LED to serial port..for BX-24.to send a string of text. For help see http://www.tigoe.net/pcomp/labs/lab-serial-output.shtml Hope this helps.
