I am trying to develop a web site using asp dropdown listboxes. I'm getting a problem however in that if I expand a dropdown list box and select an item, then close Internet Explorer using the 'x' button whilst keeping the item selected, I get a memory error! This does not happen however if I run the application in the Visual studio environment. Is this a problem with Internet Explorer or am I doing something wrong I've also noticed that this behaviour occurs in other websites that I've tried.
