Commerce Server and Visual Studio...newbie question

I have Visual Studio 2005 on my workstation and I have installed Commerce Server on the same workstation. However, when I open Visual Studio and try to create a new Commerce Server project, the templates that the Commerce Server documentation says is supposed to be there isn't there.

Did I read the installation instruction wrong, or am I missing something Does the Commerce Server installation install any components for Visual Studio How exactly do the two interact

Actually, no, I had Visual Studio (both 2003 and 2005) installed on this machine before installing Commerce Server.

Should I uninstall Commerce Server and reinstall it

You must have installed VS after installing CS2007. To fix this run CS2007 setup again and select modify. Then in the feature selection select VS integration. All we do is run empty.pup when you call the CS2007 project wizard.

Hmm we never tested this scenario. You are in uncharted waters :). Try it and see if it works. As I said before then you luanch the project all VS does is call the empty.pup, so it's not like you are losing a great feature:).

Since it doesn't seem like a big deal, I'm probably not going to worry about it.

    Thanks for the assistance!
