WDS 3.0 creates "negative Index" :-(

Hi,

I installed Office 2007 and with that WDS 3.0. After the Installation it created a new Index with all my Mails etc. After some time the Index had around 100.000 Entries and I could search. But after a few days the Index was gone! There where only around 150 Documents in the Index. So I deleted the Index in the Options Menue and it got created again. This was lasts week.

But since this Morning my PC is working like a Maniac. It says that there are around 50.000 Documents in the Index and that there are around 50.000 more to index. But the Strange thing is that BOTH Numbers drop! I am watching this a few hours now and my Index dropped to 14.600 and is shrinking more and more.

I think this thing is seriously broken. Now I am sure I have to "Reset" the Index and start reindexing a few hours again. This is really annoying! I am very disappointed and even the functionality to search UNC Path has gone. You have to find that Plugin to get it working. What happened to this Product
