Decimal entry limitation in the catalog

Hello,

We need to enter scientific data in our catalog. One of the value is 0.000025. When creating a property, I would like to use a decimal datatype and set the minimum value to something like 0.000000. But for some reason when I save the property it revert back the minimum value to 0.00. And when I try to type in the data value of 0.000025 it actually saves it as 0.00. Is this a limitation of CS 2007 catalog
