I believe I have installed the pdf add-in, but don't know how to uninstall it.

If you have installed the pdf add-in you should be able to find it in Control Panel: Add/Remove Programs. If you can't find it you may want to make sure you check the Show updates box at the top of the Add/Remove Programs window. This will ensure that you are looking at the complete list of programs that are eligible for removal.

I have a similar problem. I found the $NtUninstallKB11993$ and $NtUninstallKB11993-V2$ folders in my c:\windows folder. However, I'm not sure what to do next. I tried running spuninst.exe in both folders, but get "The update could not be removed because newer updates are installed. Please remove the newer updates first."

I would also like to uninstall Windows Desktop Search and am unable to locate in "Add / Remove Programs". The version installed on my computer is 6.0.5361.0

The add-in does not appear in the list.

Please see the following thread http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx PostID=731598&SiteID=1&mode=1 for some additional information about what I have tried so far.

Is there some sort of uninstall tool I have tried the Windows Install Clean Up already, but WDS does not appear in the list.

    Help!

Hello lex3, could you please let me know what version of WDS you installed If you aren't able to find the program in Add/Remove programs then I'll need to version to point you to the correct uninstall file.

    Thanks,

    Brent,

Have you installed any WDS add-ins (MUI pack, Lotus Notes Add-in, etc.) If you have, please try to remove those prior to removing WDS.
