I just configured a new production server but when i went to run the application it seemed that there were a bunch of performance counters missing.
I checked the registry and compared HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services to another machine.
The Commerce: Marketing and Commerce: Pipelines were present on the new machine but Commerce: Catalog, Commerce: Catalog Pipeline, Commerce Orders, Commerce: PromoCode Pipeline were missing.
Anyone run into this Any suggestions on how to create these or what step of the install creates them
Thanks.

Missing Performance counters

Yes, the perf counters are set up by CSConfig (not the MSI install).
CSConfig should be run on all computers where Commerce Server is installed, otherwise most if not ALL Commerce Server features will not work.
In UI install mode, by default, CSConfig is automatically launched post-installation.
Hope that helps,

I had run CSConfig, but i ran it at a later time, not at post-install step. When I ran it, it didn't configure the performance counters. is there an option being passed to it at post-install that triggers this

I checked with our systems guy (who did the original install) and he never went into the Commerce Server Configuration. I had gone in after the install was complete and set up the DB references but I don't remember it saying it was going to install the performance counters.
Do they only get applied if you run the CSConfig from the installation
