Is it possible to run (or even install) WDS 2.6.5 and the 3.0 Beta on the same machine I have the Office 12 Beta (with Outlook and OneNote 2007) installed on my new laptop and have installed WDS 3.0 to index my emails and OneNote notebooks, but I really miss having the GUI of WDS 2.6.5. Is it therefore possible to install and use WDS 2.6.5 to index everything except e-mails and OneNote notebooks, and have WDS 3.0 index those information stores
If not, does anyone know when the GUI'd version of WDS 3.0 is due for release

Neil,
I would highly recommend that you not try to run both versions of WDS together. In your situation, I would suggest you wait until the beta refresh of 3.0 (which will have a UI). I can't tell you any release dates, but I can say waiting is probably your best option.
If you want, you can also uninstall 3.0 and install 2.6.5. You'll still be able to search email and such using 2.6.5 you just won't have the handy instant search box right in Outlook (you'll have to use the search box in the deskbar).
