Unlike Mercury Load Runner, Visual studio 2005 does not replay the correct filter search

Does anyone know why Visual studio does not pick up filter searches.

My Automation script when played back does not a perform a filter search that was incorporated during the recording process. Instead it returns the result set of filter search based on default settings.

However, when I ran the Loadrunner script, it replayed the events correctly. (Correct filter search results were returned)

yes..on playback it is still displaying default information..

Also during the recording process Visual studio crashed a few times- could have a bearing on the data recorded.

I had to use the old version of VS2005 since the SP1 version was throwing errors during playback.( As my colleague pointed out, certain unicode characters are not accepted by SP1 version - A bug in VS2005.

1.Should I send the web test files to find out why the parameters revert to a default set of params

2.The HTTP request that had a space in the Query String Parameter, failed as a 400 bad request. This happened only on machine where VS2005 has SP1 installed. Ideally this should be represented by '%20' .

sure, send an example webtest file.
