I had a TFS project that was deleted using the tfsdeleteproject command. the project was removed from TFS but, the source control root node is still there. I have verified that in the DB the project is flagged as "isDeleted". When i try to delete the root node from Source Control I get TF10169 error. How can I remove this from source control
Thanks,
Chris

Removed Project But, source Control Still exists

I am not trying to permanently delete it. It still shows as un undeleted project. I removed the checkbox to show deleted items and I still see the project in Version Control. I would be happy just to have it marked as deleted in Version Control.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi:
See if this helps- read thepart labeled IMPORTANT: http://blogs.msdn.com/mrod/archive/2006/12/12/deleted-team-project-still-visible-in-sce.aspx .
Make sure everyone else that has worked on that Team Project also does this. If it still does not work then let us know.
thanks, mario
