  I find this wierd. Have you tried to repair Visual Studio

  WEll I tried to repair and first use it showed a .h and .cpp but would not open...now today same as before...

  I have a partitioned hard drive where the c is down to 15% free space and I recall

  that I had to change something with the fat 32 file system for some program...could thesehave anything to do with it or bum software

  Looking at some notes I believe I changed Fat32 to NFTS

  I solved problem....it was that I had Norton antivirus on....even as I installed I had it shut down...and even when it ran I had it off....However after I uninstalled the Norton software....Visual studio works correctly....I have also found with the Norton updates Outlook no longer worked....obviously I am not happy with their product...

  file ...new project...clr ...console application....box xomes up I put in name test 5...

  click ok and software closes

  I reopen and click folder and get tab
