Some Halo-like video clip I found...

I was a heavy critic of managed games and performance but I'm finding less to argue about these days and finally made the switch. This is not mine but it's a video clip of one of Halo's multiplayer maps that I found on YouTube. The textures are a bit blurry but I doubt the art is the concern right now. It just proves Halo is within reach with C# :) I think that is quite awesome and worth sharing. Enjoy...

    That's my video : )
I'm working on adding collision with the level right now.

    EDIT:
Oh yeah, and if you're wondering, the game runs at ~60 FPS, but my video recorder slowed it to less than 15 (sometimes 8-9)
    EDIT (again):
I just uploaded the collision test video. It was recorded at a gouge-your-eyes-out 7 frames per second, it should be up on YouTube soon, so here's the link:

The collision is per polygon and based on the bounding sphere of the banshee (for now, I'll be using each sphere from the physics models later, but not until I've divided up my collision model into regions)

I probably shouldn't be double-posting, but, new video:

    EDIT:
By the way, you may want to turn your speakers up for that one, the sounds are fairly quiet.

That was definitely worth sharing. Thanks for the link!

    Very slick. Thanks for sharing!

Thats sick! Have you or are you planning on making the source available Did you write an importer to read the data files or did you recreate the maps/models Either way, amazing!

Well done again! Keep uploading those videos. Are there any tips on keeping performance around ~60 FPS
