  Hello, I tried to put a 3d char from excel in the "Excel Web Access Web Part" but it always render the chart in 2D. Does anyone did that successfully In Reporting Services making 3D charts is straight forward. askmehow, Unfortunately 2D is the only supported chart rendering in the current version.   We've been running Sharepoint 2003 for a while and are beginning our migration from Office 2003 to Office 2007. We're consistently seeing IE crashes when attempting to open a document directly from a SharePoint document store. (Browse to the document list, click on a document and "kaBoom!" IE crashes with a kernel32.dll fault) I've seen this problem with the following configurations: Vista Business (RTM), IE7, Office 2007 WinXP, IE7, Office 2007 WinXP, IE6, Office2007 There's a similar thread on the Vista forum where one suggestion was to "remove Project 2003" (which only exists on one of the three above data points).   Dear All. We are going to develop banking software based on higher level abstraction (MDA). In briefly, we will call it "Developer Tools and Framework for Building Banking Software". May be is sounds new or old idea for somebody. Our application will have core terms(Account, Customers, Debet, Credit and etc) for each bank.   Could I install SPS07 on SQL Server 2000 Of course, the first thing what I do was creating of user account with these roles + local administrator rights on SPS07 computer. So the steps you took were you created a service account. THat service account was given the security roles of "dbcreator and securityadmin" and you set these accounts up in SQL. Then you tried to install and it failed to connect to the Database The only thing I can tell you at this point is your missing something with the account your using when running the Configuration Wizard to create the Config Database.   Thanx for taking the time to look at this problem. I need to import a number for doc's and folder into SharePoint 2007. We need to retain the original created date of these documents from our file system. I have done some looking around and can't see a solution as yet.   I am trying to install CSF 3.0 on a machine joined to my domain. I choose Complete install, and leave the Optional Top Level OU box unchecked. I've also tried manually creating the CSF-Administration-OU in AD, but I get the same error.   Can anybody suggest a good resource or answer this problem I'm running MOSS 2007 in a multi authenticated and multi domain (separate forests) environment and cannot find any documentation that clearly explains the overall configuration when running within the same MOSS farm. Before anybody asks, the reason for this configuration is that one HR department and upper management team overlooks a number of companies in the same building and at other locations around the world. We have managed to set-up multi authentication providers using both AD and SQL/ASP.NET forms authentication using the standard method of extending web applications, as well as configuring a custom profile connector on the SSP admin site.   Hi: Does anybody knows why if one user is administrator of a site and edits a Word or Excel document, it opens as Read Only He is opening the document with the 'Edit with Microsoft Office...' but he cannot save the document, and it is necessary to delete and upload it again, and he has to do it every time he wants to modify it.   I saw a SharePoint demo in Quebec city yesturday.... It is a great product, I need to get this....! But... We don't use Active directory because we are in a Novell Environement... There is no way we'll change it for now ! Could SharePoint adapted to work on a LDAP Network... LDAP and AD are a bit similar.... I assume you are talking about SharePoint 2007. If so, it does support LDAP authentication by using the LDAP membership provider.   I am re-writing a single-user, local application that supports MS-Access to a multiple concurrent user application that will support MS-Access, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and XML. In the current application, a Microsoft Access Database (*.mdb) file (with structure but no data) is distributed with the application. When the user wants a new database, the distributed file is copied.
