• AlexDav Document Library WebPart and Folder Navigation

  Hi, I have created a Document Library and am using folders rather than columns for organization. This is largely because when users upload more than one document at a time they are not prompted to tag them with metatdata and then lose thier files amongst the existing documents. It is difficult for them to then find the documents and edit the properties after the fact. With this being said, it is more convenient for them to navigate to the appropriate folder and then upload the multiple documents. The one issue with navigating the folders is with the Document Library Web Part. I can't find a way for them to navigate up a directory. The "Up" button is no longer in the toolbar. • nils49 Can't deploy webparts from VS2005 with Sharepoint extensions unless I am Administrator????

  I have installed Sharepoint Services and Visual Studio 2005 Professional with the WSS extensions so that I can develop web parts. I have two users on the box, the Adminstrator and me (jstr) I have set my user account up to be a member of adminsitrators, and although the Administrator created the Sharepoint Site Collection, JSTR is listed as number two, and can do everything on the Sharepoint sites that the Administrator can. When I create a simple "Hello World" type web part, the web part deploys perfectly if I am logged in as Adminstrator. If I am logged in as JSTR, I get "no sharepoint exists at the specified URL".   Hi Bala, Can we able get some samples for defining RDF Schemas to the requirement of stroing user details like First Name, Last Name, Address 1, Address 2 etc. It would be great if you provide us with some information about the SPARQL (Query language for RDF).   When can we expect the next release of VSeWSS I am getting the error mentioned in other places (blogs and newsgroups) where I can't build and deploy the same project twice (works the first time, errors out each time after). Hi I have setup a new MOSS site ... Question: Where could I find sample code using VSeWSS with web part property or tool part. I have some kind of rendering problem. If you aren't actually using anything in your web part that accesses something in a MOSS feature, the workaround is good enough -- just develop in a non-MOSS site and move it later.   Is there any way to write a custom even for a document library so that when a user uploads a document (and it has a certain custom property checked) the custom event creates a copy of that document in a network share directory Cheers, You should be able to trap the "Insert" event on a document library and have a copy saved into a network share.   Currently we have a running CSF2.5. In the same domain we installed a CSF3.0 To explore CSF3.0 i first installed the lite version on my XP machine, samples etc and some eperiments running fine.
