• Chris Richner Displaying Workbook using external data with periodic refresh in EWA

  Hello. I have a very simple workbook containing a Pivot Table that is populated by an external data source (SQL Server 2005 database). The connection properties of the external data source are configured to Enable background refresh, Refresh every 1 minute, and Refresh data when opening the file. The connection is configured to use Windows Authentication. The workbook resides in a Trusted File location. When I open the workbook in Excel 2007, the refresh works fine. No problems. When the workbook is opened in EWA, it appears to load a cached (old) version of the workbook, then the first time a refresh occurs, the Data Refresh Failed message is displayed.   Hi! all, I just failed to upgrade WSS from WSS2.0 SP2 to WSS 3.0. Somebody said to install " Sharepoint Server 2007 Beta 2 Technical Refresh" is helpful, Unfortunately, it's not my case. It's appreciated, if you can provide any idea about this.. Thanks! I took the following steps: 1. Install .NET Framework 3.0(Uninstall .NET Framework 2.0) 2.   Hi to all, I'm reading "The Definitive Guide to Windows Installer" to make upgrade or patch to my app. But all the procedure explained in the book is too much expensive for a programmer, and manual edit ORCA db is not a friendly procedure.   Hi All, We are not using Biztalk based service logic but IDM is connecting to ESSO and ESSO internally uses Biztalk Database. We installed CSF components on different servers like CSF Identity Manager is on SERVER1 machine, CSF/BizTalk Server DB on SERVER3 and BizTalk Server Runtime on SERVER4, while configuring BizTalk Server components we are using active directory users installed on SERVER1 machine. We are able to successfully configure BizTalk server components like ESSO, Runtime and Groups on BizTalk Server SERVER3.   Hi: I've been working with the old version of sharepoint, there I work with one template that has some Content Placeholders (the top zone, the middle left zone, the middle right zone and the and the bottom zone). Now I have to work with sharepoint 2007, I have 2 portals but the templates I have only uses the middle left and right zone. I've read that I can change the master page, but when I click on Site settings/Master pages I have nothing to change it. Can anybody help me Im new with this.
