  Hi, Microsoft document imaging is a nice tool to get paper scans into sharpoint. In the 2003 version MDI files, the output of MicrosoftDocumentImaging, have been included in search results by an default iFilter scanning the meta data which has been added by the ocr part of MDI. It seems that this have been discontinued in MOSS 2007. This is a real bad thing not having this capability anymore. Does somebody have a workaround like installing the iFilter DLL on the server with some hacks or similar tricks Rolf I don't have the SQL server installed.   Hi I have been a programmer for a long time and got a MSDN Universal / now visual studio professional with pro MSDN sub. I always used to just get straight on with programming and do what was needed, however not worked on anything that can be classed as a very big project. I am just starting to get in to needing to do big projects and ER modeling. I used to have Visual studio 2003 enterprise architect, and now have 2005 professional. I was wondering if doing this, did I take a step down because I can not find anything to do with modeling, and I am sure there used to be :S Any help here is appreciated.   My application would crash if the data source of my excel workbook on server is extracted from sqlserver . So I add a breakpoint to the code...   I can define parameters in Excel Services, but I couldn't find any directions on how to pass those parameters to the back-end SQL Server relational database. Our users may see different set of data depending on their position. The Asia manager isn't allowed to see New York data for instance. I need to identify the user currently viewing the Excel sheet, and pass it's name as a parameter to the SQL server, so that SQL will filter out the data that the user isn't allowed to see. • Scionwest CSF 3.0 installation problem, Create DB fails

  Hi, I'm trying to install CSF Server but the installation program run into a problem during the database creation part, and I get an error message saying: " Error 26201. Error -2147217900: failed to create SQL database: CSFProfileIntegrator, error detail: CREATE DATABASE failed. Some file names listed could not be created. Check related errors..." CSF and MS SQL 2005 are installed on different servers. When I manually try to create a database from the CSF server this works fine. I have downloaded the most recent CSF server software from MSDN.   O/R mapping is quite interesting.  I would like to post this question for discussion. I have the following classes: Employee, FullTimeStaff, PartTimeStaff, etc.  FullTimeStaff and PartTimeStaff have many attributes and behaviors in common and also many other unique attributes and behaviors.  So, FullTimeStaff inherits from Employee and PartTimeStaff also inherits from Employee.   Hi Posted the same thread to "General" - posting it here also as not sure if it would get enough attention in that category I have added a new list - Project Tasks to my team site in a WSS 3.0/MOSS 2007 deplyment. Under the "Action" menu, I can see differnt options to export: - Export To Spreadsheet - Open with Access - Connect to Outlook However, there is NO option to export it to Microsoft Project Professional (client). I have the Project client installed on the machine.
