  The sliding menu I did in Markup, with Peter's help, is working pretty well. It slides open on start, and closes automatically if a track is selected. However one thing I cannot fix is that after the first time you open the menu while a video is playing, it will no longer animate, it just appears. For example: 1) Start project, after 1s menu slides open. 2) Select track, menu automatically slides shut. 3) Open menu using menu button (CTRL+M) and menu slides open. 4) Select another track and menu slides shut. 5) Open menu using menu button (CTRL+M) and menu DOES NOT slide open, but rather just appears.   hi, everybody First, i want to thank everybody here, because i 've build my first gadget all in java because of the help and the posts here... Not so easy.....   I wanted to test some elements of the network API - specifically reading an xml document over http. Does the current iHDSimulator support this Also, how far away is the next release of the sim Great to hear Peter. Will the release version of the iHD tools be free as they are now Actually, I believe the latest version of HDiSim does support the network APIs. Although, the implementation might not be complete. I think the current simulator's support is patchy at best.   Hi all, Is it possible to populate a ComboBox or Select element via script after the page has loaded I want to have a drop-down with a dynamic list of items in my settingsUI, but can't seem to add items or options to boxes. Also, I am trying to do this with vbscript. It would be best if I could repopulate the drop-down on drop-open (onbeforeactivate ), so that it was always up to date, but if there is a way to at least add a dynamic list once on or before load that would work too.   Hi all, I just started to author advanced hddvd content but i vailed in getting a valid video content to test my first project. is it possible to multiplex a VC-1 file with the Sonic authoring system for standard HD content in a way that i can use it for my first advanced content project I tried to import the vc-1 file into sonic, generated a simple autostart HDDVD, multiplexed it and used the HVDVD_TS folder for my advanced content project but it didn't work. The Nero Showtime softwareplayer diplayed the menu correctly but didn't play the video. I also tried to burn a dvd rom and inserted it into my Thosiba HD_DVD player but it just displayed the disc error 0x4095C501. Can anybody help me thx mikeret ...Show All

  Does anyone have any relationship data between XML Parsing (using the built in spec Parser) and specific CES devices We are looking for data based on the parsing and handling the parsed xml stream, such as dynamically creating menus, pop up messages, dynamic playlist navigation, game engine datasets etc. Our SAX implementation and DOM implementations are multi-format compatible but we are looking to verify performance at this time before giving up on the built in spec parser. • YeeBoon Keyboard Mapping problems

  I am trying to use a Microsoft keyboard with the Microsoft HD simulator, and the Ctrl and Alt keys do not simulate the player correctly. The keyboard I am using is connected via USB. (I am using a Dell computer, with USB connections only) The player, and the code, works fine on a different computer, with a keyboard that has a ps2 connection. I have tried changing the keyboard, doesnt help... For example: when pressing 'Ctrl m' it does not act as the menu button for the player. Please Help!   When executing the play command from a WMP11 embedded control from javascript, I'm getting a Bad Image - Error for 99% of my tracks. It only works on one or two, and I can't figure out any specific reason why it would work on those only. The strange thing, is that even with this annoying error the tracks still play fine. Worth noting perhaps: i'm using nVidia nforce3 drivers, which are in alpha so probably aren't signed. Unsigned drivers would have been my guess too. If you can, try rolling back to more standard drivers, and your problem might go away. • n0n4m3 HDDVD_E_INVALIDOPERATION when switching tracks

  In the HDiSim, I'm getting an error most of the time I switch to play another title. The error is thrown when a new title is called like so: Player.playlist.titles["title1"].chapters[0].top(); This only happens if a title is currently playing. Do I need to stop a title before starting a new one Sorry, Titles. I'm working with some audio engineers so the term "track" is hard to break out of. I tried that too. Not sure what is going on but I am getting extremely inconsistent behavior in the HDiSim.
