• Bradrover Getting a VC-1 file ready for advanced content authoring

  Hi all, I just started to author advanced hddvd content but i vailed in getting a valid video content to test my first project. is it possible to multiplex a VC-1 file with the Sonic authoring system for standard HD content in a way that i can use it for my first advanced content project I tried to import the vc-1 file into sonic, generated a simple autostart HDDVD, multiplexed it and used the HVDVD_TS folder for my advanced content project but it didn't work. The Nero Showtime softwareplayer diplayed the menu correctly but didn't play the video. I also tried to burn a dvd rom and inserted it into my Thosiba HD_DVD player but it just displayed the disc error 0x4095C501. Can anybody help me thx mikeret ...Show All

  hey, So i finished creating my gadget, i use winzip to zip it up to mygadget.gadget and then double click to install... However it just says: This is not a valid gadget package The gadget works if i move the folder to the windows gadget directory! • Darrin Turner Problem with mixer devices

  I have a problem with sound devices on my computer. There is no sound when i try to play a file on windows media player or similar program however i can hear sound when windows opens or shuts down. When i click on volume control it says; " There is no mixer devices available. To install mixer devices,go to control panel ... etc" I did what it says but the same problem occurs everytime i turn the computer on.   I used the WavSource MediaSource example and I used it in topology using a tee node. When I do that, an errors occurs after starting the session (0x8000FFFF). If I dont use a tee node everything works fine. I tried setting the MF_TOPONODE_PRIMARYOUTPUT and MF_TOPONODE_DISCARDABLE but that did not change anything.   Hi, I recently added a new site to the net ( www.doorcenter.co.il ) the site is currently using streaming to play a wmv movie. i want to be able to let the visitors to control the movie (PLAY/StOP) but not while pushing the right mouse key; i want them to see a PLAY button on the movie itself. just like YOUtube's flash movie. do you have any idea how i can make it with WMV or there is now other option but usinf FLV !   The readme indicates the VK_ESC/Cancel maps to Esc on the keyboard. However I cannot get that to recgonize in the iHDSim. Am I misunderstanding something Thanks.   As a community service, can you please reply to this thread with your successful combinations for burning DVD discs for testing Just trying to get a list of options for folks who are trying to get content onto the players.
