I wanted to test some elements of the network API - specifically reading an xml document over http. Hi all, I've been making a lot of SD DVD's the past 5 years so I want to give it a try to author a HD DVD. A client is releasing a 2 DVD box with 6 episodes that have been shot in HD 1080i and asked me if it's possible to author it for HD medium. I want to suggest to release it as a standard DVD box with 2 extra discs containing the HD version of the filmedit. Since there are no players available yet in Europe I'm not very eager to release it on a true HD-DVD medium but to compromise I would like to replicate it on 2 x DVD-9 . The footage is about 2 x 2.5 hours with 5.1 audio. Dots can we load different playlist on run time?
Hi, Is it possible to load a different playlist on run-time For example, currently the system loads and plays playlist VPLST010.XPL. Then let say there's a 3 buttons in the main menu. And can we program so when user click button1, it will load and use playlist000, or clicking button2 will play playlist001 and so on Thanks & I hope you understand what i'm trying to say. -k Probably the more likely reason for a new playlist is that you have downloaded content from the network that you want to play. I have got a WMV-HD sample disc and it plays well on my computer. I copy it in my harddisk and start to change disc.js code When I write an error code in disc.js , it will show an alert message window. It's ok, but now it is simple-chinese, How can I change it to be traditional-chinese thanks a lot! AcaExplorer allows you to view the content of unencrypted Advanced Content Archives and extract files. Usage: Run acaexplorer.exe > Click on [Open Archive] > Select an *.aca file and click [Open] > Select one or more files from the listbox > Click on extract and choose the destination > Click [Choose] and voila! MiXen How can I stop to play video on start?
By default, my video file is playing at start always ( I think that I can configute XPL file for it ) . But I want start video from JavaScript (e.g. use click by "Play" button). i.e. when I start iHDSim I must don't see video, but I will must work with controls (DIV, BUTTON and etc.) and use animation. How can I do it I tried something like this (using looping of a title to itself) in a markup app that should last indefinitely (until the user explicitly clicks "exit") -- however I noticed that when the loop-point occurred, the markup would "reset" itself, i.e., the active <cue>s all ended. martona About ShutdownObject() of IMFActivate.
I have made OriginalSink and implemented IMFActivate, I could create instance of mySink in the PMPProcess. When the PartialTopology was sent to PMPHost, ActivateObject() of mySink(IMFActivate) was called from PMPSession. And then I have two questions. 1. Although ActivateObject() of mySink was called from PMPSession, ShutdownObject() of mySink was not called from PMPSession . This is why 2. When PMPSession was called Shutdown(), Shutdown() of mySink was called synchronously. And mySink shut down myStreamSink. I want to create IMFByteStream instance using source resolver. When I use files on disk as the source URL, all is fine. But when I use network source ("mms://streaming_server/file.wmv") as source URL, the resolver's CreateObjectFromURL method fails with error code MF_E_UNSUPPORTED_SCHEME. I tried using "http:", instead of "mms:", but that fails too. Is "mms:" or "http:" scheme not registered with MF by default ~ UK It appears you're correct: Our net scheme handler plugin indeed does not allow you to create an IMFByteStream, only an IMFMediaSource. bergtatt Playing H.264 files on Windows Media PLayer 11 on Vista
I am not sure if this is the right forum for this question. I would like to play a H.264 video file on Vista. I have installed PowerDVD 7.0 on the system. In XP, Windows Media PLayer 10 uses the PowerDVD to play the video file. On Vista Windows Media PLayer 11 shows an error message that the correct codec is not found, but still plays the video. But it does not seem to be using DirectX as I am not able to create a graph using Graphedit. I want to be able to play the H.264 through DirectX on Vista.
