• Melt16 File upload with Sidebar Gadget

  Is there any possible way to upload a file through a gadget I am creating a gadget that takes a word document or .txt file as input, post that to our servers and then we display information to you every day based on that information through the gadget.   I've been working on a gadget that makes use of the XmlHttpRequest object to get data from a web application. Currently, I'm having a problem in that the web app requires the user to log in by first requesting an auth token, then sending the user to a webpage (with that token as a parameter), and then once the user has logged in, requesting the users sessionId. I have the first part working, I can get an auth token just fine and then I try to load up the login page in a flyout (using the iframe trick), but I keep getting navigation cancelled. Also, as soon as my gadget opens the flyout, it seems to reset itself. • FroggEye Adv. Cont. Playback on HD-A1 >> NO RENDERING

  Hi All, I am having trouble getting an advanced content application to play once burned on a DVD-R and inserted into the Toshiba HD-A1 HD DVD player. Video and audio play fine using this method, but once the advanced content object is reached the player stops playback and gives an error. Does anyone have any advice on this We have tried the samples posted here and we get the same results. Thanks. I got a little farther with the Advanced Content. The player recognizes that the disc is authored as Advanced; hint my receiver, hooked up via optical, switches to DTS. I then get the error code 0x4094c501. • Raguvind Getting a VC-1 file ready for advanced content authoring

  Hi all, I just started to author advanced hddvd content but i vailed in getting a valid video content to test my first project. is it possible to multiplex a VC-1 file with the Sonic authoring system for standard HD content in a way that i can use it for my first advanced content project I tried to import the vc-1 file into sonic, generated a simple autostart HDDVD, multiplexed it and used the HVDVD_TS folder for my advanced content project but it didn't work. The Nero Showtime softwareplayer diplayed the menu correctly but didn't play the video.   I was trying the HD DVD Simulator on a laptop it runs but when any sample is loaded it doesn't display anything. Could it be that the simulator doesn't work on a (low) resolution of 1024x768 Ah yes. Intel video drivers don't support "NV12" format bitmaps, and iHDSim requires that. I'll bet it is your video card. I tried running HDiSim on two not so new laptops with no luck (right after the Sim was released).  The window would open up but nothing would play.  I bought a new laptop with a current generation video card and it runs great.   Hi! I have a gadget, that Ii don't want to send to the live gallery, but I'd like to use it on live.com from different machines (home, work). And I don't want to install web server on each of these PCs, and use the gadget from localhost. So i want to put it on a web server I can reach from both places. But when I try to add the gadget manifest's URL on the live.com with my web server's ip I get an error: "checking for autodiscover tag..." and then nothing happens. Yes, I read an explanation for that. (Besides I tried also with IE6, but got the same problem.) • AhXue sAPO source code modification problem

  I'm trying to use sAPO which is introduced in Windows Vista. Though, I had some trobule in compiling them, finally I was able to compile and install it on my computer. But the problem is that I don't think that it is not working properly. The sample which Microsoft gave me is just to switch channels. I added some more code which makes every sound output to white noise (0.00f ) in that sample. and added some code which shows message box whenever users click check boxes on property window.
