  • jdrawmer A Better Solution

I have a table in my Word document (Table1). How do I move the insertion point to the last row of that table And, can this be done even if the insertion point is not currently located in the table Thank you. After a little looking around, I found the syntax I was looking for. The following line of code places the contents of textString into the second column of the first row in myTable. myTable .Cell(1, 2).Range.Text = textString The following is better because it does not require the insertion point to be in the table: Dim oTable As Table Dim rngRow As Range Dim iRow As Integer Set oTable = ActiveDocument.Tables(1) iRow = oTable.Rows.Count Set ...Show All

  • Joel Harris Action Pack Question

I am interested in the Action Pack. I understand that it comes with the Vista upgrade, not the full edition. I do not have 10 licensed copies of XP Pro to upgrade from. So does that mean I will need to purchase a licensed copy of XP Pro for each machine that I want to put the Action Pack upgrade version of Vista on The idea of providing upgrades in the Action Pack is ridiculous, the ammount of time it takes to install XP just to meet this requirement shows what Microsoft really thinks about it's partner's and how it values our time. For most Action Pack users I imagine that they will be buying or building new PCs due to the beefier requirements of Vista. I only hope it doesn't require SP2. (I am doing an XP build on a new PC as I t ...Show All

  • XNA Rockstar Is there a today() function in VBA?

I've been trying to get the current date a few ways in VBA. I tried using the today() function in a spreadsheet and getting the data from that cell and also calling it explicitly in a vba script and have had no success. any help will be appreciated. i use now() to enter the date for new entries into my database - i would assume that it also works for excel Offcourse. (^_^ ) The only difference between Now and the one's i've suggested is that Now contains both the current date and time while Date and Time are seperate commands for the date and time. (^_^ ) It all depends on which information you need. You can use "MyDate = Date()" for that. (^_^ ) If you wa ...Show All

I have a checkbox on my worksheet, that I would like to check the value of it when the workbook opens. Simple example would be: If the user saved the workbook with the checkbox checked, then when he opens the workbook again, then cell A1 = 1, else A1 = 2. I cannot figure out how to obtain the properties of this control (or any other toolbox control) from the Workbook_Open event. I am using Excel 2002 (10.4302.4219 SP2). Any help will be greatly appreciated. • ozitraveller excel rowheight

Hi, I know how to set the rowheight of a row to zero using macro. Is there a way to do this in the formula section Something like : if there is a value in cell A2 then delete the row or set the height of the row to zero. p.s. no macro is allowed for business reasons. Thanks I do not think this can be achieved with a formula, you either do it manually or with VBA. Alternatively you may use conditional formatting (Format > Conditional Formatting) to make the text in the cell "disappear", i.e. make it the same color as cell background color. ...Show All

  • soung LCS/Office Communicator.. add contacts to users Communicator at Login (script)?

I'm trying to use the lcsaddcontacts.wsf command to add contacts (is there another way to do this) I'm using the format of the command lcsaddcontacts / usersfile:users.txt and /contactsfile:contacts.txt I'm assuming I need both files... (In vista, or in XP, it just runs but no contacts get added).. I'm assuming the users.txt represents who I want to add the contacts to.. the sip:userA should match the LCS login name or the AD login Also.. does anyone know of a way to install the client and have the ...Show All

This problem has been mentioned by many other users (in a different thread subject), so I wanted to start a new thread. I have tried many suggestions, but none have worked for me. My MODI has been a print option for me until just recently. It disappeared from my printers folder. I have repaired, removed, and re-installed Microsoft Office. The MODI will still not appear in the printers folder. Please Help! • ahmedilyas Post-Empower ISV Options

Hi all, The company I work for has been in the Empower ISV program for almost two years. During that time, we have completed version 1.0 of a very large (about 800,000 LOC) enterprise application. We have made a few sales, but we're not rolling in the cash yet (hopefully that will change soon). We are still adding new features to our product, fixing bugs, etc, and as such we still need development tools. Since all of our tools are covered under the Empower ISV program, we'll have to switch to something else once our subscription expires. What exactly are our options Is there anything that isn't going to cost us an arm and a leg I doubt there's anything that's as cost effective as the $375/year we've been paying for Empower ISV, but is th ...Show All
