  Is it possible to do a map.Find() and not have the pushpins automatically added I would like to have a callback on the Find() but I would like to add my own pushpins. Do I have to manually go through and remove all the pushpins it automatically entered then re-add them Or is there a parameter or property I am missing Thanks, Jason this code works because everytime a pushpin is added it uses teh VEPushpin.prototype.GetContent you define here. if you have your check variable set to false then the function returns an empty string and there for nothing gets put on the map. when you call your own onFindResults function you set the check variable to true just before you put your pin on the map and to false ...Show All

• barkingdog Mobile 5 SDK for Pocket PC install hangs

  Tried for hours to get Mobile 5 SDK for Pocket PC to install. The original problem was that my McAffe was stopping various scripts from executing. The install hung after McAffe stopped the scripts. Then, after I turned off the McAffe script analyzer, the SDK tried to rollback and attempt another install, but those installs eventually hung. By "hung" I mean the install wasn't using disk or CPU, there was nothing after the word "status" above the "progress indicator", and the "progress indicator" didn't progress.   Man do i need help. i started off and got to this point and realised i was going in 2 opposite directions. i have a simple VE Map page using HTML/JS. i also have a PHP page that Queries a MySQL server and returns results. all i am looking for is how i would be able to do the following: allow a person to cruise(browse) the map in my simple page, and have 4 buttons to the side that would be toggled on/off to show 1 of 4 categories in my MySQL DB. obviously i realised with PHP it's server side and couldn't update on the fly. i am using a linux provider for this, which means no ASP.NET or any other gr8 MS jazz. the layout: MySQL-DB (name,address,type-of-place, lat, long). i currently dont have lat and long info (i'm guessing thats what everyon ...Show All

Thanz There are SQL Server 2000/2005 and SQL Server Mobile providers for NETCF as well as some 3rd party providers which you can find using any internet search engine. There are no ODBC (not supported by Windows CE at all) or OLEDB ADO.Net providers for NETCF. While OLEDB is supported by the OS, there's hardly an abundance of OLEDB drivers for it, so such provider probably won't do you any good should it be available. Using WS as a proxy is your best bet. • Sidheshwar syncing 5.0 and 2003 devices, same machine different profiles

  I am attempting to use 4.2 to sync different PPC's with the same desktop on different profiles. When I had 3.8 only the 2003 worked and with 4.2 only the 5.0 works. I am a little stuck since 4.2 is supposed to work with the older versions of windows mobile. Initially the 2003 would start to sync and then have an error, it corrupted outlook so bad I had to reinstall it. Now it knows the 2003 is connected but won't even attempt to sync.   I'm trying to load an xml file in Pocket PC, but its giving me DirectoryNotFoundException. I know why the exception is occuring becaue Pocket PC file structure is not like the local Drive system we have in windows. I'm using c# 2005 and deploying to Pocket PC 2003 SE Emulator.
